Rare? Oh yes. I think they’re more rare than a Tomos, certainly. Desirable? I think only with  the kinds of moped lovers that like Tomos mopeds.

Yeah the Tomos I had last summer leaked gas when on its side. This Batavus doesn’t leak though. The gas cap seals pretty good.

That’s nice. A new gas cap is last on my parts list for the Tomos. I just got a fuel petcock, to replace my leaky one, and a set of mirrors.

Next thing is a better exhaust, and if it’s still too slow a 70cc kit will be in order.

If it’s not a huge project that’s no so bad. I got mine for 200. Knowing it would be a  project. I’ll probably have 500 into it when I’m done. But I’m also doing a bit of customization, and improvements as well.

What exhaust do you have? The biturbo a35 exhaust lets you rev higher for more speed.

Stock exhaust with the baffle pulled out.

I think I’m going to get the Techno Boss exhaust. The bit of research I’ve done says it’s about as effective as the BiTurbo but 15-20 bucks cheaper.
